How Safe is Safeforge, really?
Safety is our No. 1 priority.
We optimize for safety in two areas, the smart contract level, and the portfolio construction level. Our initial product will be hosted on Tokensets, a reputable and audited project. When we launch our own smart contracts, before launch, will be investigated by a top-tier auditor.
Our portfolio's are constructed communally, with only the best performing strategies being merged back into our main formula, initially in small quantities. As time goes on and we become more sure about their performance, they take a larger share of Safeforge's portfolio. In this way we protect against overfitted strategies.
What is Safeforge's Secret?
Safeforge will create the world's best store of wealth by having a continually, communally driven formula.
Forgers, users who wish to improve our formula, can create a branch. To create a branch requires collateral, which gives access to some funds from our vaults. If the branch outperforms the main formula, then the forger gets a reward (part of the upside). If the branch underperforms, then the forger loses part of their collateral to compensate the main branch wielders.
Who's actually building my portfolio?
Safeforge is a community driven portfolio, meaning that anyone can submit a portfolio. The portfolios then go through a rigorous testing process before they become part of the Safeforge portfolio.
Our forgers include PhD-level Economists, hedge fund managers, DeFi degens and former exchange operators. We believe that a wide variety of views is necessary to build the best portfolio.
